I’m a licensed pediatric SLP. I live in Texas with my husband (Eric), baby girl (Bailey), grumpy cat (LuLu), and goofy dog (Kaiser). When I’m not doing speechy things, I can mostly be found chasing my toddler, shopping online, or trying to keep up with my favorite reality TV shows (Real Housewives- hey, we all have our vices).
As an SLP, I am “one of those” people who actually loves treating R. I know I know- it can be the worst. I used to dread it. In fact my very first student as a CF was an R kid. I was never able to help him and it haunted me! I committed to learning everything I could for my bag of tricks because I never wanted to feel that way again. Fast forward to today and I now make R resources and discuss my favorite tips on my blog and on Instagram. I hope you come say hi sometime!
To sum it up, I’m really pumped that you’re here. My goal is for this to be a space for inspiration, recharging, and positivity. When you hear me say “progress over perfection” that doesn’t just go for our students… that goes for us therapists too. Together, we can work through any obstacle and get back to making progress and having FUN in therapy!
